Background:
Rig was built in early 2015 by Cyberpower.com. I recently decided to refurbish and overhaul it instead of buying a new PC. I usually buy one every two years to get "up to date" technology and plus I can use it as a tax write off for my business. I dove into the overhaul after doing a lot of research online. I'm very thankful for the forums, which is why I signed up and shared my experience. This was my first time doing anything like this, including overclocking. The PC was suppose to have come "professionally" wired and overclocked, but I soon found that my system was performing way below it's capabilities and expectations. From this point forward I'll be building all my own systems.... as if I needed another hobby!

Stock Equipment & settings (no changes since 01/01/2014):
- i7-4930K 3.4Ghz stock; 3.9Ghz Turbo; 6 core (no OC from cyberpower)
- Gigabyte X79-UP4, v.1.1, BIOS F7
- XFX AMD R9 VC (not sure on exact specs, but nothing special)
- 16GB of Corsair 2133 Vengeance (running @ 1333 from cyberpower)
- Corsair RM Gold Series 750w PS
- Adata 256BG SSD
- Toshiba 2TB @ 7200 rpm
- Coolermaster N400 case w/ 3 fans, plus one addtional 140mm fan for top side exhaust
- Coolermaster Liquid Cooling Kit
- LG Blue-ray drive
- Aerocool 2000 double bay fan and temp controller

Overhaul Parts and Settings:
- Overclocked @ 4.2Ghz (No-Turbo), 1.32 max Vcore, but usually sits around 1.28 and of course a few other tweaks
- additional 16GB of Corsair Vengeance 2133 actually running @ 2133
- ASUS RX-480 Strix OC 8GB VC (stock OC settings for now)
- ASUS AC-1300 Wireless Adapter
- Anglbird Wings PX1 M.2 PCIe Adapter
- Samsung 960 PRO 512 GB M.2 Drive
- Corsair H-100i Liquid Cooling Kit
- 8 Corsair ML120 Pro fans, replaced the 2 fans that came with cooling kit (building scrap parts pile for the GF's rig)
- Full set of white Corsair power wires and white aftermarket SSD cables
- completely re-wired and built

Computer runs stable and amazing for me and what I use it for. No errors under stress test via prime95 with max temps reaching 59* C; minimum is 50*C. Below is the bench using userbenchmark.com.

UserBenchmarks: Game 111%, Desk 134%, Work 116%
CPU: Intel Core i7-4930K - 101.7%
GPU: AMD RX 480 - 92.8%
SSD: Samsung 960 Pro NVMe PCIe M.2 512GB - 277.4%
SSD: Adata Premier SP610 256GB - 488.7%
HDD: Toshiba DT01ACA200 2TB - 109%
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8x4GB - 116.9%
MBD: Gigabyte GA-X79-UP4

Nicely done! I'm working up a good case of envy over the white PSU cabling, too.

Thank you sir! Yes, I'm digging the white cables. The Sata's came from newegg and are great quality & you can't go wrong with the Corsair cables. They even come in a Crown Royal type bag!

Something weird about some of those pics. Looks a little cartoonish or something. Can't figure it out.

Just realized I bought this rig originally in early 2014.... WOW. Think I'll go for a huge upgrade towards years end. I found the stock pictures when I unpacked it, such a huge difference!
