Hi,
i have an P4 2.4A GHz northwood 400mhz fsb on an Asus P4T-E motherboard with 2 x 256mo rambus pc800-40 (bios setting is x4)

He is OC at 2.6 ghz (fsb 108 mhz, x24). He is stable but can take more! I think the solution is to buy an Asus P4T533-C. It is possible to put this 400mhz fsb cpu on the P4T533-C?

I think my memory communic very well with this cpu, dont wanna change!

Or give me tips to maximize my fsb with stability on the P4T-E board.

So, P4 2.4A 400mhz fsb @ Asus P4T533-C ????

Big Thanx

Yes, the P4T533-C is a fine choice for that CPU. FSB on that board goes up to 156Mhz using jumpers. The alternative board is the P4T533 that can go higher theoretically, but which needs 32bit RDRAM.

I havent had much success with my 2.4A with a p4s533. The fastest i got mine up to was 2.88 @ 1.85 volts. Not very good huh. You may have more luck than I though.
