I have an older box sitting around and was thinking of trying to upgrade it.

From what I can see the difference between the two chips is that I gain the 1066 FSB vs. the 800FSB; but lose .07 in MHz in speed in going to the P4 EE 3.73 from the P4 670.

The real question is will I see any difference in the real world or only on benchmark software?

Ram: (4GB total) 2x Crucial 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model CT2KIT12864AA667

You will not see any noticable difference in real world apps. The performance differance between those 2 are very close. It might be a worthy upgrade if you had a lower end P4.

Thanks, Bignick!
That is what I thought, but I know there are people out there that know much more about this stuff than I do!
Thank you for your time!
