My laptop is pretty old [from 2002], but I had a question about the cardbus slots. I recently picked up a wireless cardbus adapter since it has no onboard wireless, and the card will only fit into one of the slots. Flipping the card doesn't work in either slot. Since it does fit in one slot, I wouldn't normally care, but I'm trying to figure out if the card is bad, or if my laptop has a bad/dead slot in it. If it helps, the laptop in question is a Compaq Presario 2100US. Are there different sizes of cardbus adapters, or is there something fishy going on?
