Greetings all,

I've completed the assembly of my rather unique and unorthodox cooling solution. Everything is hooked up and leak tested. But before I actually switch on the computer for temperature testing, I'd like to know if the numbers I'm seeing for flow rate and pump RPM are reasonable and expected, given my setup:

  • GPM: 0.9
  • Pump RPM: 3960 each
  • Temps: Pending 24 hour run time average <- if anyone is interested I can followup once after I have data.

Equipment:
  • Pumps: 2 VPP655 pumps in series
  • Pump Tops: Heatkiller D5-TOP
  • Waterblocks:
  • --CPU is Heatkiller IV Pro Copper
  • --HBA is Alphacool HF 14 Universal Block - Copper Edition
  • --SB is Alphacool HF 14 Smart Motion Universal Copper Edition
  • Radiator: Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 480mm
  • Piping: All pipping and fittings are 3/8ID, 1/2OD
  • Additional Flow Restriction Source: 4 sets of Swiftech Quick-Disconnetors
  • Total Tubing Length: 9 feet

Setup:

*NOTE: sketch does not reflect actual tubing layout. I.e., the radiator cold return doesn't flair out the front of the rack ;)

Looks good to me. Some pictures of your setup would be nice. :D
