Has anyone figured out how to dismantle a Delta PFC1212 so that new wiring can be soldered on?

Goal is to replace the wires with 22AWG wire so that it doesn't get so hot, extend the wiring without connections and to be able to sleeve the wires.

Rewiring to thicker wires: That makes lots of sense. I hope someone knows how to help you.
Sleeving: if you get new wires on, sleeve the cable then. If not, use a flat small screwdriver blade to disconnect the terminal housing (aka "the plug"), sleeve it, then reconnect the housing. Don't forget to put the sleeve on with proximal and distal shrink-wrap tubing; you finish the job when you take a heat gun to the shrink-wrap.
