Pressure Testing

My daughters first water cool build. Question will it be ok to run 24 hours on distilled water only? Then if no leaks add the coolant after.

Concern around will running just water for initial tests cause any damage?

Distilled water is probably the best fluid to run in a clean loop. Back in the day we'd run distilled with a bit of Redline Water Wetter.

Distilled water with the correct amount of PT Nuke is all you need. There is nothing wrong with a premixed solution either so long as there aren't dyes added to the coolant.

If you're using EK's nickel plated blocks, I would highly recommend going with clear premix fluid from EK.
