Here begins a long-term project to turn extra parts I have (extra in Greek is doplatek) into a HTPC. Yes, this will take a bit, no, I'm not spending a lot of money on it, yes I'm in need of some parts, check the list an let me know if you want to make contributions, otherwise it'll be a gradual acquisition .
I'll post pics as I go, for now it's just a parts list, but it'll be something by the end of the week .

CPU: AMD A64 ~3000+/Intel PentiumD 805-NEED/HAVE (need AMD)
Memory: 1GB DDR/DDR2-NEED/HAVE (DDR if I can get a hold of AMD, I have DDR2)
Hard Drive: 80GB IDE/120-320GB SATA-HAVE/NEED
Power Supply: Anything decent and quiet, 350w+-NEED
Video Card: AGP/PCI-Express (FX5200 to 6600GT in performance)-NEED
CD/DVD ROMS: DVD-ROM, CD-Burner-HAVE/HAVE
Case: Anything for now (beat-up MGE EcoL4)-HAVE
TV-tuner: Leadtek TV2000XP/EXPERT-ENROUTE

XP-90-ENROUTE
80/92/120mm fans-HAVE
