I am setting up a small network for a local day care. I have one D-Link DES-1228P 24 port switch which controls the eventual 5-8 DWL-3140AP connect to it. While there is always a possibility for change, I doubt they will exceed the use of 12 ports on the switch as they will be using the wireless most of the time with laptops.
However I would like to install a small patch panel to keep the cabling neater and more proper. I know how they work and what their purpose is for, but what I do not know is a brand I should look at. I would like it to be a wall mount type as they don't have a rack. There is a slight chance we might purchase a 5-10U wall mount type of enclosure later on.
So far I am liking the Tripp Lite 12-Port panel and the Belkin 12-Port panel. However I am open and looking for further suggestions.
Thanks,
