Quick queston about TEC setup

Is it necessary to use new pieces of neoprene when moving a TEC waterblock to a new motherboard? Or is it ok to just pull off the old pieces from the old board and put them on the new board?

As long as the new board/chip/block is fully insulated, I don't see any reason it shouldn't work.

So the neoprene doesn't get to flimsy or anything like that? . . . Is there anyone around here who's done it?

Yup. I've done it. A bad ps fried my board and switched the pelt system over. There was no problem with the neoprene going bad.

you can tell when neopren gose bad it will get alot of pinhools when remove it then its bast to replace it
