I want to thank gigabyte, this board has some serious potential as I'm just at 1.75v, dual cards go in tonight or tomorrow to see what we can squeeze out, and along with an e8500.

thanks guys,

@ Dean, haha, no need for mods, the board goes to 2.35 vcore , more volts will be put through it soon enough ;)

Good to hear Todd, 2.35v Nice

If you have time over the next day or two, could you post up some bios screen shots showing what it has on offer ?

will do, I also left the pics of the board/setup at home, so pictures of the board will come soon to :)

:clap:Sweet clocks man...can't wait to see what you can do with both 3870X2s in that board...

Very impressive Todd, nicely done, how would you say does this board compare to P35 and X38 Gigabyte in terms of voltage control and OC'ability?

How about some pics? :)

compared to x38, this board is night and day, much better memory clocking, voltage control, there's tons of options, and the loadline calibration does work, just didn't use it this time, when set it works well, just stress's the pwm more, as far as overclocking wise, this board needs a bit more tweaking to get to the same levels as on p45, can't really compare to p35 as I havn't used this chip on ln2 with p35, as far as fsb, this board is very strong, 450-460 is easy to do on this board, compared to all the x38 boards I tried(dfi, and gigabyte) where max fsb was closer to 440 tweaked, the quick runs I did with the 8500 was a max of 580, should have another chip here tonight to see if we can break 600fsb though :)

oh and frosty pics will come tonight :)
