Ram oc

Hello all,

My specific ram is G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 1600 F3-1600C9Q-32GXM. It is running stock at 1.55v at 1600 9-9-9-24-33. Now I do have a small oc from ocing the cpu with bus speed. Its running 1693.6. What would be a safe voltage to try and get to 1866 or so?

1.65-1.7v
No guaranty that they'll ever get there though.
You will be doing a balancing act with your NB frequency, HT frequency, ram speed, and CPU overclock.
Pay attention to what you're doing and be prepared to re-install your OS.

Absolutely.
They can corrupt the bios too.

Oh I am very happy you told me that. I think ill just leave the ram with the slight oc of 1700. thanks though

1700 to 1800 is a good spot for FX. Don't be disappointed with that.
