SOLVED RAMPAGE IV EXTREME CODE 79

Was trying to do DICE, when my board keeps giving me a CODE 79 every time I tied to OC it. Never had this issue before. Any help would be great.

You clear cmos? I would try checking the motherboard guide to see if any post codes are covered. If you're still having issues, shoot shammy a pm over at kingpin forums.

The board posts, and goes to bios, and runs stock settings, but gives you problems when overclocking?

The error is Error 79 CSM Initialization, change out memory and changed voltages. Change bios. I think I will reseat the cpu and try first on my cascade before dice again.

Stalling at DEBUG Port 79 – Happens when CPU is stretched with DRAM and BCLK. Can use Slow Mode to pass this part.

Tried that, let the board dry and going to reseat the CPU. Will try again tonight.
