No idea of any that use Linux...

That said, control them via the bios and have them set to increase speed by temperature.

Depends on if your fans are plugged into mobo headers or through a fan controller on the case, and if your mobo supports fan curve modifications.

If they are connected via molex, you can't control the rpm.

If you are plugged in via molex, and your fans HAVE 3 pin or 4pin fan headers, you can buy an external fan controller like https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod...fNqoRjFpsTyc0Rnqp6waAp2DEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds and ramp them up manually upon starting a rendering job, This controller supports 30 watts per channel, so you can plug in 2 fans to one header using a y splitter and power up to 12 fans with 6 channels.

This is out of stock here, but you can buy it direct from manufacturer here: https://www.nzxt.com/products/sentry-mix-2

There are other controllers as well, pick one that has enough channels for you, and matches your asthetic taste. This is another offering with some fancy features if you don't have a 5.25 bay to spare : https://www.nzxt.com/products/grid-plus-v2
