What's the deal with these new "Reliability" rollups that recently started coming with MS updates? Is MS finally acknowledging that their OS products are not a reliable as they ought to be or does this have something to do with ensuring that the updater works like it should?

Well, there wasn't a problem with the updater in W10 AFAIK (wasn't that 7?), that isn't it, at least on W10.

Why not ask MS?

What are the specific reliability rollups (rollups remind me of fruit rollups! is it a rollout?)

I was just struck by the term "reliability." Seems to be new nomenclature.

Reading through the update list for a couple of so-called 'reliability rollouts'... MS is saying: 'This update includes cumulative improvements in reliability'. Per usual with MS, not much more information on the details of how exactly they improved reliability.

Yeah probably some marketing guru said something like "well the updates ARE supposed to make the system more reliable, right? Right?..."
