So I’m building a dual rig setup in a single open frame case. All the hardware is mounted. Just wondering if I can run the hard drives from the 1st rig with the PS of the second rig. It would make for a cleaner look. It would even be cooler if I could run both rigs from 1 1500 watt PS.
Anyone done this?

yes, you can do this.
if you need 2 psu's you will just need what is called a piggyback connector, it replaces the two 24 pin harnesses with 2 that are wired to start both power supplies.
