I just got a samsung 205bw yesterday. It is my first LCD screen as I have been using CRT monitors. I have had my MSI Geforce 6800GT card for about 2.5 years now, and have never had a problem with it. However, the LCD screen has been going blank every once in a while and I am getting artifacts on the screen during normal 2d use. I have tried to overclock the video card in the past and have seen artifacts like this before, but that is normally because I have the video card overclocked too much. To the best of my knowledge I do not have the card overclocked anymore. In the settings panel, the card shows it is sitting at 70 deg C with an ambient temp of 51 deg C which I do not think are any different than they were with the CRT monitor attached.

Back to the screen going blank, I do not think it is a problem with the monitor because when i hit CTRL-ALT-DEL the picture will show back up. Very odd.

So anyway, if anyone has any idea what is going on, please let me know. Thanks.

** edit: i forgot to mention that i am running the lcd on DVI, not analog

** edit #2: yes my card is definitely not overclocked. I forgot that i formatted a few months ago and did not install the coolbits inf, so since then it has never been overclocked. Also, i have a MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum SLI, and I can not figure out for the life of me which "voltage configuration" I am supposed to pick in MBM5. I know that the setup should be a WInbond W83627THF-A, but the voltages don't seem to be shown correctly...and neither does any other config in the drop down window. I know that I have my voltage set to 1.575 in the bios, and it shows my core is running at 1.50 with the winbond selected, which seems reasonable i guess, but it says my 12v+ is 2.18, which if that is true, i don't think my computer should even be running. here is the sysinfo from mbm5 just as reference.

bump, still having problems with the card. Personally I'm leaning towards a heat issue since the card is saying it is idling at 71 deg C in windows, but I'd still like someone who knows a little more on the subject to give me some info.
