sata 2 question

hello all i have finally finished readin everyones comments in my previous post about my system build,and i have decided to go with the asus P5WD2-Premium motherboard
the one question i have is it says that this board is sata 2. will this sata2 work with my sata western digital raptors i will be using 4 of them in raid-0
any advice will be helpful before i make the purchase thanks....nico

sorry i havent had a sata drive for a while, and i read a little about sataII. My question is, is sata II something only the motherboard needs? or does the hardrive have to be SATAII aswell for you to get sata 2 transfer speeds? I ask this question because at my local retailer i dont see any drives marked with SATAII i only see just plain SATA
