g'day folks
since in getting a new athlon xp2800 and transfering my two ide hdds, gfx card, soud card, keyboard/mouse and tft...512mb ddr266 (and maybe 256 ddr266)

all i am left with is, mobo, duron 1800, 1 ide hdd, maybe swap the optical drives around occasionally, and the 256 ddr266 ram

worth keeping the duron?
just for "fun" purposes

It's always worth keeping old hardware around You never know when you might need it.

and if you keep it running you could always fold for team 32. [/plug]

but yea i would keep it around sometimes you never know when an extra box may come in handy for network problems or anything like that...sort of reminds me of the night i had to use a p1 box to help a friend of mine (over VNC) fix her computer problem....i had a good chuckle out of it

Run it as a file server of if you really want to be handy (and have a high speed connection) you could put smoothwall on it.
