Should I upgrade to AM3?

I want to know if the performance gain is worth the cost to upgrade to an am3 board and ddr3 ram.

My current build is:
DFI Lanparty DK 790FX-M2RS

Phenom II X3 720 BE overclocked to 3.2
6 gigs of gskill ddr2 1066

2 western digital sata 640gb blue
1 western digital sata 640 green

ati 4850 512mb

Depends how much money you have to spend. Mobo = 150, memory = 100, so your looking at ~$250 for about 5-10% gains. I just upgraded, and it did nothing to improve my benchmark scores.

No you shouldn't its not worth it , just grab a better video card . ATI 5xxx series will be coming out in few weeks , that will be worth it .

Not worth it, upgrade something else like to a SSD or vid card.
