I have 6 month old WD160gig 16cache that locks up in games 3mark etc
system was stable at 3500 top end 3600 1620fsb maxed
xpp reduced drive speed from 3.0 to 1.5 ata 5
now 3dmark 3700-3900 fsb 1850+
i reset drive to 3.0 cash lock new wd cable + new drivers
wd lifeguard states 75% of checks are at 200 or the worst setting
checking sectors now
should i put a jumper on the drive to reduce it from 3.0 to 1.5
still get a few lock ups at slower speed
should i rma it
have new spare drive
is it cool to mix sata 3.0 and a sata 1.5 in same sys
