Not sure how they would hardwire malware into a CPU.

Supposedly there were tracking chips on motherboards...... but, yeah, this is a CPU.... the effort for the gains here doesn't compute to me.

Anyway, interesting... I just went back to mainstream from HEDT, but if someone is in the market, this feels like taking a chance.

Honestly you are just as well off buying a used on on ebay... its a cpu. lol not like they wear out and go bad... really. paid 190 for my 7820x and paid $100 for my 7800x
