I've been tasked with building a small network featuring only Server 2012 servers. I will be running a few DCs on top of the Hyper V hosts. I can't decide if I want to use SMB3 shares or iSCSI to store the VMs. I will have to include live migration for the DCs hosted on the Hyper V servers. What should I do? And for those of you who are new to Server 2012, SMB3 is supported by MS for storing Hyper V VMs.
