Fun device. I picked one up a couple weeks ago and love it. My local GameStop had a call list going for them as they come in.

Buy the wireless controller or you will end up sitting on your floor.

Or you can do as I did - get a longer HDMI cable and just bring the console closer to you.
I've had mine since they became available last year (Sep 2017) and been playing the crap out of it at times. There is a controller extension you can get that would help but a longer HDMI cable can do the same basic thing, plus would help if placement to your TV isn't ideal as is.

In fact getting both would be the ideal thing if it comes down to it.
