Stanford Finds Potential Cancer Treatment in Protein

I saw this NY Post article on reddit this morning. It's pretty short, so I'll let you guys n gals read for yourself, but it basically says Stanford has a lead on cancer found in protein CD47. There is no mention of folding, but I'm thinking distributed folding contributed to this discovery.
