strange problems with windows 7 clock and internet.

is it possible that the i5 2500k is degrading and that is the cause of the clock problems, or is the clock 100% mobo?

change the cat5 cable the cord had a tear on the ouside... seems slightly better, still losing time, not as many ip drops. very strange
