My 8800GTX has two Gold Fingers on it
I have two 8800GTX with one SLi Cable
does it matter which one of the two Gold Fingers i use
and now i have a total of 4 DVI connections to chose from
does it matter which one i use

I dont know much about SLI, but I can help with the DVI question. It shouldn't matter which one you use, but usually you'll use the the first card's DVI.

is that the one thats closest to the right side panel looking from the front of the case? thats the one i always use :)

I have used the top card with the DVi closest to the motherboard
I also used the second card with the DVi farthest from the card
I have used the first and the second gold finger
they all work in diffrent way but i am not sure what is the standard of using it

Read the manuals that came with the cards. You can use either set SLI of bridge of connectors.
