Guys

I am sure I am doing something really dumb here, but have been struggling with this for some time.

The machine boots, and after a minute i hear 5 beeps, 1 long beep then a sqeal beep(a rising beep). Nothing displays on VGA monitor.

I have a A1SAM-2550F [1] with pair 8GB DDR3 PC3-12800 Unbuffered ECC [²] which should be compatible.

If i pull out the memory, i get 5 beeps which IS documented in the manual.

I have ripped out all the other pci cards, hard disks, usb peripherals.

Pulling at strings here. What could it be?

im going off the 5 short + 1 long beep, that would be system memory according to the manual. do you have other memory to try and see what happens?
