We took the week off last week. That means that some one did something great and we did not recognize it. If you fit that profile, please post it below. You hit a milestone or passed 20 people, whatever you did, let us know.

Guys. We are taking a beating. This trend has been going on for about a month now. Hardware.no and Overclock.net have left us behind and TSC! is gaining. The only team struggling more is the [H]ord. If you have the capacity to increase, now is the time. If you have been holding out, get to it. We have the strength; we just have to flex it.

Team Conquest List:
[oldtable] Hardware.no |Infinity |same from Infinity.
Overclock.net |Infinity and beyond |up from 2.4 years.
[H]ardOCP |8 months |down from 10.8 months. [/table]
(Lower is better)

Team Threat List:
[oldtable]TSC! Russia| 2 years| up from 2.9 years.[/table]
(Higher is better)

Active folders and ranking:

Top 10 averages: 5.93 million up from 5.34 million
Top 20 averages (including top 10): 3.39 million up from 3.00 million
(Higher is better)
The above numbers are difficult to read because of the reporting issue earlier in the week. These outages tend to skew trends. With that said, the top 12 all earned over a million ppd so that is good.

Individual Milestones:
(Note: The word “earned” is used here because each member has worked hard for these points and the word is meant to show the hard work done to “earn” these points. Thank you to all.)
HayesK will earn 9 billion in 1.8 weeks.

Macaholic will earn 7 billion in 4.2 weeks.

wjruth will earn 300 million in 4.9 days.
superducky just earned his first 100 million! WOOT!

Hack30 will earn 90 million in 16.8 hours.
rpkole just earned 70 million.
IAmMoen will earn 50 million in 5 days.
Race to next milestone follows.
juane414 just earned 30 million.
JLF12345 just earned 30 million.

RustyFender just earned his first 10 million! WOOT!

squads just earned 9 million and will earn 10 million in 3.7 days.
Carthago just earned 6 million and will earn 7 million in 2.8 days.
TrentonSystems just earned 2 million and will earn 3 million in 6.6 days.
walaka7 just eanred 2 million.

Despite our losses in the overall race, there are a lot of team mates who are doing very well. Thank you guys and Congratulations!

Congratulations to everyone on their hard work and earned goals.

Please feel free to post any advances you’ve made below. Thanks guys.

Until next week
Build, Borg, Recruit. :comp:

In the World Top 100, CureCoin is going to push all team 32 members out of the top 100 soon if they keep going the way they are. :(

It may not seem like much but we have lost a bit of CPU production to Rosetta and at this stage every point is critical. My small production is also severely down due to an unresolved issue with core_a7 and 32-bit Windows 7.

I've got a weird situation myself that I'm trying to track down.
I'm doing another major system burn-in, and while a few of the systems I've got crunching for BOINC, the others are all folding. According to the Control Manager, I should be seeing something like an additional 10million ppd. But so far, I've not seen any of that. It's as though the results aren't being tallied. (Sometimes the connection to the results server times out, other times they just don't seem to matter?)

I'm using the same configurations as my other folding systems and they're still reporting in fine.

If I can't figure it out, I may just put the whole thing on BOINC duty. That'd be fun to see, also. :)

Keeping at the diagnosis...

UPDATE!

Although this seems to be the consistent error I'm getting now:

16:54:05:WU01:FS00:Uploading 8.20MiB to 155.247.166.220
16:54:05:WU01:FS00:Connecting to 155.247.166.220:8080
16:54:05:WARNING:WU01:FS00:WorkServer connection failed on port 8080 trying 80
16:54:05:WU01:FS00:Connecting to 155.247.166.220:80

Which is currently not happy: Screen Shot 2017-12-04 at 11.56.21 AM.png

So I guess that's my problem. HA!

There is a thread at Folding Forum about credit issues.
Re: No credit from 155.247.166.220 and 155.247.166.219

I just started my notebook with windows client 7.4.15 set CPU6 and received an A4 wu p8634.

Code:
17:00:45:WU00:FS00:Connecting to 171.67.108.45:8080
17:00:46:WU00:FS00:Assigned to work server 155.247.166.219

Have configured the CPU client to fold under another team to determine if any credit is received. No way to spot credit for a single wu in my T32 stats. ETA 6h-37m.

update: cpu wu completed and uploaded ok at 2355 UTC 12-04-2017. 15 hours later, still no credit received.
update: 0300 UTC 12-08-2017. 3+ days later, still no credit received.

I hope you get it fixed soon.

Got my 1070 back up over the weekend that's been down, puts me back over 1mil ppd

It may not seem like much but we have lost a bit of CPU production to Rosetta and at this stage every point is critical.

If FAH didn't choose to overly reward GPUs, they would have more CPUs folding. Clearly FAH doesn't care much for CPU folding anymore, they have set their sights on GPUs. Remember when FAH suddenly reduced the points for top CPUs from 600k to 150k. They could have just left those points and upped the GPU points but that was their signal that CPUs are out.

I have turned off several quad cores over the last few years because the power cost wasn't worth the points given. And I was considering killing my i7 rigs and 4p rigs as well.
Only the introduction of the A7 cores with double points made it acceptable to FAH fold (and that A7 core was promised 3 years earlier but continually delayed). As the GPU points expand
to one card getting a million+ points, how can a CPU compare to that? My i7s were getting between 25k and 55k using the same power as a GPU - 1/20th of the points for the same resource.

I have switched my CPUs to Rosetta for a few reasons but one was to try to extend the useful lifetime of my CPUs. If FAH wants them back, they have to give reasonable rewards and they don't and they won't.

All the CPUs that switched recently to Rosetta could be replaced by one top end GPU with power to spare.

Just saying, GPUs are for FAH, CPUs need Rosetta.
