From personal opinion, what do you all think about THIS

Looking at a bunch of gf4 4600's and pretty sure I'm going replace the stock HSF with this.

now the question is which gf4

I'm using one now on my Ti4200, and IMHO it does only perfroms a bit better than the stock. May be gave me another 5 MHz on my GPU.

From what I can tell with video cards the stock coolers, blue orbs, crystal orbs, and from what Kato says, this new GF4 cooler don't really help THAT much. If you really wanna cool it down hook up a 60mm CPU cooler on it, like the SLK-600 or SVC golden gate 40. If you're not up for that, then just leave it at stock cooling but maybe lap it and use AS3.

These guys make pre-overclocked video cards: http://www.ocsystem.com/videocard.html

they have a pretty killer set up for one of their geforce 4 ti4200 which they were actually able to clock higher than a Ti4600. Maybe u can look at what they have and try to copy it. heres a couple reviews of that ti4200: http://www.explosivelabs.com/reviews/ocsystem_ti4200/

From the looks of it, it looks like they used thermaltake's Heatsink fan cooler and their own nickel plated copper ramsinks.

WARNING OC System has a 2.6 out of 10 at ResellerRatings (which is really bad for the uninformed)

from whwat i've heard from a ton of people, that thermaltake cooler sux. What i found out about the cooljag is that everyone likes it. I just bought a cooljag, and am waiting for it in the mail. I can't wait.

I used a 1ucpu cooler i found at "gasp" FRYS!!!- $10!!!!!!! it works sooo well- droped temps 20c!!!!!!!!!!!!

someone please post where I can have a look at this cooljag? I wouldn't use a CPU cooler cause how in the world would I keep one of those monsters affixed to the gpu!?

h0mer, in fact the cooljag 311c is a cpu heatsink/fan that is small enough to fit in a gpu, just use some Artic alumina adhesive and you are all set. Newegg is out of stock on it, but 1coolpc has some and it has a kickass reputation on resellerratings

Is cooljag a new company? How are their AMD socket A heatsinks? Those fans look really neat, trying to find out the db/cfm ratios. Any professional reviews using the cooljags on the video cards? Anyone else use this heatsink, the mini copper fins look sweet...

Does the gf4 gpu have a heat diode? How do you all know how hot the card is getting?

EDIT: anyone have any info on these fans. I can't find anything about the output for cfm or db!

I bet you didn't know this, GeIL (USA) memory is also run by Encore Innovations which also owns OCSystem.

It's a shame that Triplex is only available at Ocsystems.com as thier reputation according to resellerratings.com is Pathetic

PS Get the Cooljag, its about the best IU cooler out there.

it helped me push my card to 336/700....24/7 time tho is 328/683

i have the Tt GF4 cooler... it's pretty damn heavy but the thing does not cool as well as you would think it could.. in comparison to the stock Gainward HSF on my ti4200, the Tt has only dropped the temp about 1-2 C. Each time, AS3 was applied and the GPU temp is at about 49-50C w/the Tt installed.
