Thorton (Athlon FX) will physically have 512 KB of cache

let's say the extra cache "could" be enabled but ..... say the extra cache isn't completely stable ...... could softaware be used to "avoid" using say part of it that isn't stable ??? ...... i was just wondering ..... cause i have a pc of 512mb Geil DDR333 at 200FSB it's stable enough for almost anything i use my PC for .... but when i put it to the test using memtest or prime95 ...... it fails .... and according to memtest the error occurs when testing at almost the end of the 512mb (me thinks this maybe the reason why it's stable under my "normal" use as most apps i use don't use memory heavily )
