Hi,

Just looking at mobos for Ryzen and none of them support Thunderbolt 3/4 (5GBps) seem to be stuck on old hat USB 3.2 10Gb/s that's bits not bytes considering the mobos are from 150-300GBP, you'd think they would have Thunderbolt 5 at 80GB/s...

40 Gbps ports are just now hitting boards. Some pro boards and flagships would have TB3/4, but yeah, nkt terribly common in the past.

Usb4 2.0/TB5 80 Gbps was recently ratified, so maybe in a few years we'll see it. But to expect it these days is quite a stretch considering how few 40 gbps ports are out. As it stands, few need the bandwidth in the first place, so there's no rush to get it to market. But you'll see some more z790 and x670e/b650e with 40 gbps ports.

Alot of motherboards already have 3.2 2x2 (20 Gbps) ports already...
