tight timing or higher FSB?

guys,
for Athlon XP
i think i prefer FSB, since my memory isn't LowLatency one
but i need ur opinion or experince, which one u prefer??
of course tight timing & high FSB will the best, but when reaching near the wall, we should choose which one better?
tight timing should better response, high FSB better RAW speed, am i right????
