Hello.

I have an extra tv antenna cable that plugs into tv. I was wondering if I could somehow use tv with my monitor. I got Samsung S22A350H.

I don't know what kind of tuner card to buy. PCI or USB or other? Ati seem to make tv tuner cards, but will there be driver problems cause i got nvidia gpu?

There is source button on the monitor. But how would I use tuner and switch channels? Through media player or some remote?

Do PCI tuners require power from PSU through power connectors?

What kind of connection it would be? (TV cord to PCI tuner, GPU to display, speakers to motherboard? Would I hear and see all tv stuff?)

This site is a great place for tuner info.

My personal fav is AVerTV HD Duet PCI-e Tuner. It's dual tuner and it does an amazing job pulling in my signal. You can find them pretty cheap as refurbs.

Personally I have had no luck with the USB tuners. The PCI tuners may be a better option if you don't have a PCI-e slot open.

There will be no driver issues, at least I have had none.

You can use media center to watch and record any show. If you want a remote there are tons of them on eBay. Just make sure you get a IR receiver as well.

They don't require power from your PSU.

Connection wise you would just launch media center and whatever speakers you have plugged in would play the sound and whatever monitor you have plugged into your video card would show the picture.
