Hey guys, I thought I would share this with the world and especially this website since between all the information on here and Youtube I literally could not have gotten this done. I just want to personally thank this forum for being around and providing the information for noobs like me.

-The Start-

Unnecessary comes from the fact that I literally only play LoL and "Netflix and Chill" with my computer, so this computer was highly unneeded but I have been wanting to build a gaming computer since the age of 12. The time finally came 13 years later so here I am building some machine, I never needed but always wanted!

-The Part List-

Thermaltake Core X9
I7 4790 Devils Canyon
MSI Gaming 980 TI
ASUS Maximus VII Formula
Samsung Evo 500 GB SSD
EVGA 1000 Watt Plat +
Phobya Fan Controller
2x 8 GB Gskill Ram

-The Loop-

EK VADER 2200 RPM fans - x3
EK XE 360 mm Radiator
EK XRES 140 D5
EK Supremacy EVO Red + Nickel
EK Red Compression Fittings
PrimoFlex Blood Red Tubing

Very nice! :welcome: to the custom water cooling family and OCFs.

The only thing I would add to this is the GPU to the loop. :p

Before I forget, what kind fluid and biocide is being used?

I actually plan to brother, I won't lie and say I ran out of money. That and I am waiting on EK to release the actual water block for the GPU I have. It's to be expected in a month or so to come out. Really appreciate the welcome!

I just saw your question, I am running distilled water in there currently. I have a silver kill coil but I haven't added it yet. Should I now? Do I just drop it in the res?

Yes, put in the silver kill coil otherwise there is nothing protecting from growth. Just make sure when placing it in the reservoir, it doesn't have a chance of getting sucked into the inlet of the pump.

My res has a mesh thing I installed at the bottom which should prohibit it from reaching the pump.
