I think the stats page on ocseti only pulls numbers for members who transmitted WU's during the 24 hour period. Anyone caching their completed WU's and uploading them later might be missed on this stats page.

yeh right! it says mine is 8 hours 45 minutes.
My 2 systems both put out WU's under 3 hours. According to Seti@work i just did 16 wu's in the last 24 hours so it's not hard to figure out that would be an even 3 hours/wu/ 2 systems and neither are overclocked right now until the new watercooler is done. I can't wait to show pics of the massive clear 6 1/2" PVC tower.

How am I only showing 3h 9m when my Seti Spy shows 2h 54m?

thanks eagle for the update

woohoo good ole tbread A put me in the top 10 :)
just orderd my new nf7-s and 1700+ hopefully next time it will be higher

Lets see I had 27 WU's on the 2nd according to ocseti website daily stats page. I'm assuming thats where you took the numbers from. So my time per WU on the second of April was 53 minutes !!!
or is there something that I'm missing here ??

LA

from what i think/understand, it is the total amount of WU in 24hrs, divided by the total CPU time you've spent in 24hrs.

not total WU just / by 24. if so, me & greg will have <10mins wu time....

however, i still couldn't find myself.....or may be i've missed it......

Well and actually you do when you think about it. Regardless of how many computers you are running you are still turning over wu's in less than 10 minutes. So that actually is your average wu time.

"Ranking is based on the time required to complete a work unit during a 24 hour sampling period, all data was pulled from the ocseti web page on 4/2/2003."

LA :)

I would have scored higher except that my P4 absoulutly sucks compared to my AMD at crunching :D (4:30/WU P4, 3:30/WU AMD)

But I'm still in the top 50!!!
JigPu

Well that would explain why some of us are missing. Hey eaglescouter I don't want you to think I was complaining about how you did it, I was just confused as to the results.

peace

Average CPU Time

To answer the most direct question asked, "What it takes to get data updated?", a period of time where I am in better health than I have been lately would go a long way toward seeing this "project" come to an acceptable and useable part of our team website. My apologizes for having to move this to the "way far in the back" burner, as a matter of fact it has had to be slid off the stove completely here recently. On the surface this may seem like an absolutely dead simple thing to do, however what is involved in collecting and analyzing time data over short spans of time and then getting it into a presentable form is far more involved than I have been able to deal with since I originally undertook this project. I have and am making progress but as I said earlier, health issues have really made this type of work difficult for me right now. With some cooperation from the health care community this kind of data will be available in the foreseeable future.

Respectfully,
SkyHook
