Just letting all of you know that I have just updated the List with new websites. The list will keep on growing through the summer, and I will find time to organize all of these links once school is officialy over.

Thanks again for all who have contributed so far!

Not a program, but a plugin:
OC Forums Firefox Search Plugin
If you are using firefox, firebird, phoenix or mozilla (untested), then this plugin will allow you to search all of OC Forums for words in a post, or view all threads by username search.

I'm not sure if this program has been mentioned yet or not, but if so then shoot me. Anyway its called CCleaner or Crap Cleaner:
http://www.ccleaner.com/ and it will clean every useless item imaginable out of your computer in less then a second. Anyway I could tell you everything it cleans out, but that would take too long and you could probably read it all on the site faster then I can type it. I'll give you a few screenshots of the program. Maybe that'll give you all a better idea. Anyway, this has been immeasurably helpful to me in cleaning out all kinds of stuff out of my computer. I think I've spoken enough. The app speaks for itself; couldn't do without it.

How about a link? This thread is a good reference made better by those. ;)

I put the link up alerady, but i named it under MaceCraft Software because that is what the company is called apparently. Sorry for the confusion.

Ok, so ive checked out all the links, and have determined the following problems:

Driver Guide - Programs - It is just a problem with the site. Even when logged on there is still a link to it (either the webmaster forgot to take it off, or is working to fix it)

Everything else seems to be up and running! But that is just speaking for the links in the First Post. I cannot say the same for the other posts.
Thanks for the heads-up Turd Furguson!

EDIT: Driver Guide - Programs site has now been fixed, so everything should be working now!

embarrassing link

wow what a Great Idea (though just reading the list of lists takes awhile).
Here is my list of protection that does things that za,ad-aware,avg don't:
Proxomitron (called proxie by its users): http://www.proxomitron.info/
This is not freeware, it is shonenware (Shonenware is a concept dedicated to the support of the one-and-only, world famous, female power-trio from Osaka Japan Shonen Knife - kawaii creators of the very best music in the world!).

Then there are these are a pair of programs that stop sites from hijacking your browser and/or changing your system settings, they are free (but if you insist, the author offers a way to donate). WARNING! ONE OF THE SETTING TURNS OFF FLASH. If you like flash stuff, you can just disable flash protection. You can take snapshots of your system settings and reset back to a saved version easily if something happens. The group is dedicated to safe compute. http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
They have a forum: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/.

For any of you who remember UseNet and Newsgroups, this is a great (free) reader:
http://xnews.newsguy.com/ (if you do check this out, stop in at alt.folklore.urban - beware the shibboleth)

Here is an atomic clock that will sync up your pc's clock with NISTs clock - freeware, but they want you to go to their world time site that has a sh*t-load (technical term) of converters and world stuff
http://www.winsite.com/bin/Info?1000000034325 (this is a fileserver site). the program was written by chaossoftware who sell a lot of time related software besides the the world web-site.

Well, enough for now
