It doesn't appear that you've missed anything after all, as everyone's order is either being cancelled or had the shipping date postponed out into the future (eternity perhaps?).

I finally cancelled my order after the last posponement.

As I seldom (near never) buy from DELL, a coupon or credit would be of little value...and this experience is not likely to influence my buying pattern in a positive way.
