hi all,
I have fx-8120 @ 4Ghz on all 8 cores, I set up 3 Server2008r2 VM's, but all of them use only the last 2 physical cores, while each VM is setup to use 2 cores.
I hate to have 3 VM supposed to use 2 physical cores each while all of them use 2 cores all together.

anyone know what is happening?

if all your vms are using 100% cpu, are they still only using only 2 physical cpus?

yes, only 2 physical cores. if one vm works at 100% all the other one freeze.
Affinity on my task manager in processes for vmware.exe is set to all cpu. (one vmware.exe for all the vm's) I just got used for it to be slow
