Actually looks very decent, kinda miss the wood look/feel around the house nowadays (wife likes glass/metal too much) ?

Nice. The fit and finish issues are a little disconcerting at $3400+, but I now have ideas, and that almost never turns out well....
It's too bad they don't just offer the bare case. My woodworking tools/skills are lacking. I may be able to work around the tool problem, though.
