I am new to Water Cooling. I would like to set one up for my computer. Cause I'm tired of having the video card getting to hot like 80'c. I did have a CORSAIR H100 Liquid CPU Cooler for the Processors but it crap out on me. But it's time to do water cooling.

This what I will like to run on water cooling. The first one is the case It's Water cooling ready. I would like to run 3 Radiator in the case if I can. Why 3 Radiator. Cause I like to have the video card temps drop a least 10,20,25'c If i can. The Liquid CPU Cooler I was using the temps for it was 15'c MAX 30"c.... PIC NUMBER 1 that where the other two Radiator are going to be at and the Radiator 3 will be in the top of the case. PIC NUMBER 2 is what Radiator 1&2 is going to like. But with 3 Radiator's. The video card you see in the PIC I will be upgrading it to XFX Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition IN CrossFireX MODE.

This what I found at frozencpu.com like I said I"m new to this. If you see something that is not right or don't need, won't work together, like hose size's. When it come to size like 1/4 to 3/4 I'm lost lol.... I like to have all the part's I need so I can get ready to order the Parts. Then when I get the parts
I come back here to see if anyone will help me out. Like what needs to clean and so on. I been reading the lifehacker forum A Beginner’s Guide to Water Cooling Your Computer.

I would go with bigger tubing, 1/2 id 3/4 od I think it looks nicer. I'm not sure that's enough radiator to cool the cpu and dual gpu's when you go that route. What about fans?

Seems your XFX card is built on a referance PCB so the full cover EK block should work. Might want to go ahead and email EK though

For the small 120mm Radiator I will have 2 Noctua NF-F12 Fans running on it and the 140mm Radiator i will have 2 fans on it to. the Magicool Extreme Dual 120mm Radiator will have 4 Noctua NF-F12 on it. You said the bigger tubing, 1/2 id 3/4 will be better.. If i change that Dose that mean i need to change the XSPC G1/4" to 1/2" barb fitting to a different size?

G1/4 is not a tubing size. G1/4 is the thread size we use on everything. Also known as BSPP threads. Wiki it if your curious.

Your 1/2" OD barbs will fit 1/2" ID tubing just fine.

thanks Conumdrum this is what I pick out so far. I just update the list of part's. I did find the right water block for the video card Thanks MGF Derp. Now if you see something will be better in the list of parts let me know. Like I said I like to keep the video cards & the Processors temps as low as i can. What you think would be better to use Water or Coolant? Water is free, Coolant cost money. But I like to keep the system clean of any bad stuff.

Just update the list

I did not found any thing in stickies about coolant or water. So I found something on some other forums about it. Some people are saying distilled water will be better as long you have a PT Nuke or KillCoil. Clamps I'm getting from a auto parts store.

Hmm, guess you missed this:

Fluid

Water. It has a higher specific heat capacity than any other common substance (source). That’s why we use it; it’s the best…plus it’s cheap! There are only a couple hard and fast rules that must be followed though.
  • Use distilled water or deionized water; nothing else.
    • Tap water would breed algae and the junk in it would aid in gunking up your parts.
    • I’ve seen it reported that deionized water would pick up stray ions from your parts and lead to corrosion. This is questionable however, considering IBM uses it. A lot of places outside the US have deionized as a cheaper solution than distilled. If it’s what is available, by all means use it without worry.
    • A big difference between deionized and distilled is that deionization only removes the minerals; distilling removes minerals and biological components.
    • I personally use distilled only, but it’s up to you. There is no dispute however that you should never, ever use tap water.
  • Use some type of biocide.
There are other things you can put in / combine with distilled water. Ethylene glycol (antifreeze) is a common one. I’ve also seen diluted methanol used (windshield washer fluid), though that one is slightly flammable and I’d not use it personally.

From here:

We have more than one beginners WC sticky.

Usually it's because of glossing over links etc. No worries, lots in a hurry do it. It's a hobby, what's the hurry?

Lol I feel dumb today. I should know what distilled water is. distilled water is what you buy in stores like Nestle Pure Life Purified Water and some others brands....So what I think would be the best distilled water and i used the silver kill coil with it as long it's dose not gunking up my parts i should be fine.
