hello,

I want to have a new pc for september,
and there's a site that mount various pc configurations
without windows
( I'll install win7-64 myself, I have a MS-win7 dvd ).

I'll do mainly some office application, internet,
get some miniDV video from an old miniDV camrecorder
( that's why I put a motherboard with IEEE1394 :
Gigabyte GA-A75M-UD2H )
but no video games, no others "heavy" software...

I'm interested in: AMD A8-38xx / 2 x 4 GB ddr3,
hd seagate or wd 2 TB...

I sow your topic
http://www.overclockers.com/amd-llano-desktop-lynx-platform-review/

and my question is :

worth to pay 20 euros more
for a DDR3 RAM at PC15000 (1866 MHz),
instead of DDR3 RAM at PC12800 (1600 MHz) ?

I don't want to overclock, nor having
stability troubles caused by "pushing" the components...

I just want to use "at best" the mobo / proc / ram ddr3

what do You thinck about ?

thanks

No. The RAM speed will have a minimal effect on system performance for your uses. I do recommend (on the topic of memory) that you get Corsair Dominator memory. I have found it to be the most reliable kind (although some people disagree).
