What's the best read/write USB flash drive test?

All right. Well I think it's official. They all post different write/read results. There is no way to talk about read/write test results with other people, there is no read/write standard test.

I am concluding that the only way to have a discussion about read/write speeds is if two people are using exact same program, otherwise their comparisons are meaningless.
To that end, this one seems to be the fastest to execute:

How about crystal disk or AS SSD, they work and are pretty popular at least with SSD's

By 'working' do we mean you click on a button and a number comes out?

The big picture question is this. They all spit out vastly different numbers. What does it matter what they are if they are that different?
The only sense in using any of them is if you use a single program as reference. This one very quickly spits out read/write numbers http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html so as long as you mention the fact that the numbers *only* correspond to that program, that would be a point of reference.

Otherwise the numbers themselves are meaningless.

I found that the read speed numbers may be close for some of the programs but that the write speed numbers are sometimes off by a factor of 100%.
