Which of the following is the superior graphics card?:

• 8X AGP Sapphire Radeon 9600 PRO Atlantis with 256 MB DDR Memory (described here)
• 8X AGP PNY Technologies (Bell Micro) nVidia Quadro FX 500 with 128 MB DDR Memory (described here)?

Guess it depends what you're using it for, but im just gonna go ahead and assume its for Gaming. so yeah the 9600 should be better.

I was going to use one card in a computer to do perform some office work with. The office work may sometimes require rendering video. The other card is to be used for some infrequent 3D mode first-person shooter gaming.

May I ask why you're asking about these two cards?

well use the Quadro for work-related things, and the 9600 for 3d shooters. Although it won't run many new FPS games.
