I purchased Windows 7 Ultimate, then upgraded to Windows 8, now I have Windows 10. Can I use the original Windows 7 Ultimate on another machine? I mean is it so long ago as to be forgotten? I am not being unethical, I actually do have two copies of Windows 7 neither of which is installed but the 7 Ultimate was upgraded to 8 then 10. And I want to use the Ultimate to load XP (of which I have four copies!).

What do you mean use Windows 7 to load XP? Why not just install Windows XP by itself?

Try installing Windows 7 and see if that will activate on another machine as a valid key.
