Windows Backup editing

I've setup Windows Backup Services on Windows XP but how do I go back and change the "normal" to "incremental"? I want to backup only changed files.

Ad how can I modify and add more directories to those backups?

Did you ever get this figured out? I don't run xp, but my school provides a copy to students, so I could try virtualizing it and take a look at the backup tools.
