I've got three Windows OS on one hard drive. XP x64, Server 2008, Windows 7 pro.

Windows 7 and S2k8 both boot fine from the boot menu that was set up with a BCD editor, but XP just won't load.

Code:
Invalid BOOT.INI file
Booting from C:windows\
NTDETECT failed

FWIW here's the BOOT.INI file even though the Windows 7 loader doesn't use it.
Code:
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Professional x64 Edition" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect

XP is on the first partition, S2k8 second, Win7 third

XP isn't based upon the NT kernel IIRC. Not sure how to modify the MBR to reflect an open environment for the boot loader.

I tried Visual BCD Editor and it's very complicated to use for a n00b like myself. I've used VistaBootPRO 3.3 also and in the past with good results, except this time. I'll give EasyBCD a try now that I don't have to give away my true identity to get a copy :-/
