windows media player error

when i try to open wmp i get an error message saying "an interlnal application error has occurred."

is there an easy way to fix it (anything but recovery)

yes, uninstall wmp, then reinstall it, but make sure you know which codecs are installed if any, so that you can reinstall them, I usually use the defiler pak ver 1.19, I watch a lot of anime, but I think you can get codecs from ms's homepage (If you absolutely MUST deal w/ them )

Or, try upgrading to wmp ver 10 if it's not already upgraded.
