Windows Tray

Is there a way to get a program to run in the tray if the program doesn't have that setting?

Real Temp used to work in the tray for me, but maybe they took that option away in the most recent version?

Im using RT 3.40 and it works fine in the tray. Maybe try an older version.

A program called taskbar helper will let you move any program to the tool tray.
