windows XP installation failed

windows Xp installation has failed. Choose the file i need to check to see what files failed to copy,
Setup.text;
Setup.log;
Istall.log;
Setup.txt;

This is possibly due to:

A) Dirty/Damaged disk = Clean disk using dishwashing liquid & hot water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. If disk is scratched/damaged then you'll need another disk.

B) Dirty/Dusty optical drive lens = Use compressed air to clean out or swap optical drives. Also check your SATA/IDE cables

C) Harddrive failing= Swap to another harddrive

D) Overclocked/Unstable system = Set defaults in bios to run stock speeds.
